Using the original sleeve pattern from the sewing pattern you decide to use, trace the sleeve using some tracing paper. Any woven top or dress pattern will work for this tutorial, but I used the Hinterland Dress Sewing PatternĪltering and Drafting Bishop Sleeves Pattern Pieces.Fabric (I picked mine up at Joann Fabric and used 3 yards, it’s a linen rayon blend).Let’s begin! Materials for Making Bishops Sleeves This would also work for any child’s pattern! (Just make sure to add less fullness than the adult version asks for in step 2 of drafting the sleeve).
